Overview

Il Premio is seeking an experienced, polished, and hospitality-driven Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of both Il Premio, our fine-dining Italian steakhouse, and Bar Premio. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for elevated service, team development, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

This position will work closely with the AGM, General Manager, culinary leadership, and beverage team to ensure seamless operations across both concepts. The Restaurant Manager will be expected to lead from the floor, uphold luxury service standards, coach and develop team members, and maintain a strong presence during service.

The successful candidate is not simply a manager who completes administrative tasks. We are looking for a strong hospitality leader who is comfortable being on the floor, leading by example, holding the team accountable, and ensuring every guest receives a polished and memorable experience. This person should be proactive, detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about developing people and maintaining high standards.

Schedule: Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily front-of-house operations for Il Premio and Bar Premio.
  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership during all shifts and maintain a strong presence on the floor.
  • Ensure consistent execution of elevated hospitality and service standards.
  • Create memorable guest experiences by actively engaging with guests and resolving concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily service priorities, reservations, VIPs, events, menu updates, and operational needs.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop front-of-house team members through ongoing feedback, training, and accountability.
  • Support the hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management of team members.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation, cocktails, wine, spirits, and service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with culinary and beverage leadership to ensure smooth communication and execution.
  • Assist with managing reservations, seating flow, wait times, large parties, private dining, and special events.
  • Monitor labor, staffing levels, and productivity to support operational and financial goals.
  • Ensure proper opening and closing procedures, cash handling, side work, and completion of daily operational tasks.
  • Address service issues and employee concerns promptly while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, alcohol service requirements, and local/state regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and polished restaurant and bar environment at all times.
  • Support inventory, ordering, beverage operations, and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
  • Serve as a leader and role model by promoting professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in fine dining, luxury hospitality, upscale casual, or high-volume restaurants.
  • Strong knowledge of elevated food and beverage service standards.
  • Experience managing and developing front-of-house teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, labor management, scheduling, and cost awareness.
  • Ability to remain composed, organized, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong guest-first mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver personalized hospitality.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on business needs.
  • Proficiency with restaurant technology and reservation/POS systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a fine-dining or luxury hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and culture.
