Overview

The Sunny Marina Attendant delivers a safe, educational, and family-friendly fishing and recreation experience for our guests and owners. This role oversees daily pier operations, including guest programming, equipment rentals, bait sales, and lawn activities. By blending hospitality with environmental education, you'll enhance our guests' experiences, protect our pier, and build meaningful connections with the community. 

Qualifications

  • Required – High School or equivalent. 
  • Previous guest service, recreation, or hospitality experience preferred; outdoor activity leadership a plus. 
  • Knowledge of basic fishing techniques, local fish species, and safe handling practices (training provided). 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging children and families. 
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., stand/walk for long periods, and manage physical activity related to fishing and recreation setup.
