As the Group Reservations Manager, you will play a crucial role in serving as a key liaison between Reservations, Sales, and Events while also ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations of our reservation department. Your energetic and proactive approach will contribute to enhancing guest satisfaction by managing room inventory, maximizing revenue, and providing personalized service. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Group Reservations team and serve as a key liaison between Reservations, Sales, and Events.
  • Manage the Group Turnover process by reviewing contracts and ensuring accuracy of rates, dates, packages, and inventory across systems.
  • Maintain accurate group information in Delphi and ensure proper setup of group rates and inventory in Opera/PMS.
  • Create and manage customized group booking links, monitoring functionality and stay-through capability.
  • Conduct daily reviews of group and hotel inventory to prevent overbooking and optimize availability.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Events to prepare rate summaries and provide ongoing support to clients and internal teams to ensure seamless group booking operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in group reservations, sales coordination, or hotel reservations management, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and hotel property management systems.
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles and techniques.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency with Delphi, Opera, or similar hotel systems.
  • Leadership and team-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
