Overview

The Group Rooms Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of group room blocks from the initial booking through departure. This role ensures accurate reservation setup, communicates with group contacts, coordinates with internal departments (Sales, Reservations, Front Office, and Events), and delivers exceptional service to group clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused, with a strong understanding of hotel reservation systems and group operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in hotel reservations, sales, or front desk.
  • Experience with hotel systems (PMS, CRS, Sales platforms such as Opera, Passkey, Delphi, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Customer service oriented with a professional demeanor.
