Are you a hospitality pro with a passion for great food, great vibes, and unforgettable guest experiences? Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City is on the lookout for a Restaurant Supervisor who’s ready to lead with energy, inspire their team, and help create the ultimate dining escape in paradise.

 

As Restaurant Supervisor, you'll assist the Restaurant Manager in the smooth sailing of day-to-day operations—training team members, keeping the guest experience top-notch, and ensuring the restaurant runs like a well-oiled blender.

What You'll Be Stirring Up:
🌺 Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and satisfied guests
🌊 Assist in hiring, training, and motivating a fun-loving, hardworking team
🎉 Ensure every guest is greeted with island warmth and leaves with a smile
🍽️ Monitor food quality, service standards, and team performance
🧾 Handle scheduling, side work, and operational logistics
🗣️ Address guest feedback with a cool, calm, and caring approach
🤝 Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and leadership to keep things seamless and stress-free

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • A high-energy, team-first attitude and guest-centric mindset

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, upbeat environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a host, server, or cashier; supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and cost control
  • Excellent problem solving skills & ability to multi-task
  • Prior cash handling & experience with MICROS POS system
  • TIPS, CPR & Serve Safe certification preferred
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
