We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong technical background to assist the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer in leading our maintenance team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in supervising a team of maintenance technicians to ensure efficient operations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to keep the facility in optimal condition
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed
  • Efficiently coordinate and oversee contractor work along with maintenance projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address any urgent issues
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a maintenance role, ideally within the hospitality industry
  • Solid technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
