Overview

Welcome to Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort, soon to be reimagined as The Sunny—a fresh, vibrant destination in Sunny Isles Beach. As we prepare for this exciting transformation, we’re looking for Pool and Beach Hosts/Greeters to join our team and create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

 

The future Sunny, in the heart of Sunny Isles Beach, is poised to redefine the beach getaway experience, offering a perfect blend of rich history and unparalleled amenities. The resort will feature 339 spacious guest rooms, an eclectic private art collection, six food and beverage outlets, a fitness center, spa & salon, oceanfront pool with tiki bar and fire pits, beach club, and over 22,000 square feet of event space, including a unique oceanfront terrace.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival at the pool or beach areas and ensure they have everything they need to enjoy their time.
  • Assist with seating arrangements, providing towels, and ensuring guest comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pool and beach environment by monitoring furniture, umbrellas, and beach equipment.
  • Provide guests with information about resort amenities, activities, and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure safety by monitoring pool and beach rules and guest behavior.
  • Assist with pool and beach activities, ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • Communicate guest needs and any concerns to the management team to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver seamless service and contribute to a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A positive, guest-first attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and provide helpful information.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring that the pool and beach areas remain organized and guest-friendly.
  • A passion for hospitality and making guests feel welcome and valued.
  • Flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and during peak times, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
