The Conference Concierge is proactive in establishing and fulfilling guest’s needs in an effort to achieve 100% guest satisfaction as a premiere resort destination..

Responsibilities

  • Maintains complete knowledge of all resort features, room types, numbers/names, meeting room, spa/wellness center, dress code, ambiance, appointments, amenities, and locations of other departments.
  • Ensures highest level of guest service, resulting in increased productivity and guest satisfactions.
  • Knowledge of amenities, top selections, hours of operations, pricing, and industry trends.
  • Appropriately matches selections with guest’s needs.
  • Read various trade publications to maintain familiarity with hospitality activities.
  • Stays current on locations of restaurants, food concepts, menu price range, hours of operation, local events and attractions.
  • Schedules daily group activities.
  • Coordinates guest requests with designated vendors to include reservations, transportation, babysitting services, and similar matters.
  • Furnishes information on street directions, entertainment events, movies, restaurants, and sightseeing opportunities.
  • Assists guests with transportation connections.
  • Provide business services such as faxing, and photocopying.
  • Executes administrative duties as required.
  • Assists guest with luggage.
  • Places orders and coordinates delivery of amenities to designated guest rooms.
  • Accept guest telephoned complaints and routes to appropriate hotel personnel.
  • Completes confirmation cards and delivers to guest upon completion of each arrangement coordinated for guest.
  • Relays accurate directions to guests’ desired destination within resort and distributes map with highlighted routes.
  • Relays weekly events sheet detailing special activities and events within the Resort to guests.
  • Performs courtesy call to resort guests.
  • Receive and deliver all incoming and outgoing packages.
  • Provides information and assists guests when requested or directs inquiries to appropriate resort personnel.
  • Maintains and organizes work area.
  • Assists Front Office as needed.
  • Trains on and executes all applicable Standard Operating Procedures,
  • Responds to security and fire safety in accordance with resort procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Secondary diploma is required. College experience is an asset but not required.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in front office/guest services areas.
