Overview

At the reimagined Newport Hotel, soon to become The Sunny, we’re redefining hospitality with exceptional service and unforgettable guest experiences. We’re seeking a friendly and professional Bellperson to join our team and help create memorable first and last impressions for our guests.


As a Bellperson, you’ll be the welcoming face and helpful hand for guests as they arrive and depart. Your role is crucial in ensuring seamless service and providing a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with luggage upon arrival and departure.
  • Escort guests to their rooms while providing an overview of hotel features, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly, such as delivering packages, messages, or other items.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, bell closet, and other work areas.
  • Assist in coordinating transportation services for guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving concerns with professionalism.
  • Ensure guest belongings are handled with care and stored securely when needed.
  • Support the front desk team with tasks during busy periods.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • A warm, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry luggage and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
